About Brooklyn99dle

Cheddar is a Civilian in Brooklyn99dle, on the same rank ladder as Captain Holt, just several rungs down. He's there from the first season to the last, which is more than most of the precinct's captains can say.

Rank runs Civilian, Officer, Detective and up through Captain to Top Brass, and Amy and Holt both finish at the top alongside Wuntch. Relationship is a ladder too, and Hitchcock ends Divorced while Scully is still Dating. This Brooklyn Nine-Nine Wordle covers all eight seasons. Jake, Rosa and Terry go fast, and Doug Judy isn't far behind. The one-season faces are where it bites: Seth Dozerman in season 3, Jimmy Figgis in season 4, or Frank O'Sullivan, the union boss from the final season.

Playing Brooklyn99dle well

In the first week this had the lowest solve rate of all 41 games we compared, 71% of rounds solved in 5.6 guesses on average, even though only 27 characters can be the daily answer. One thing that makes it slippery is the Relationship tile. Eight of the 27 have Unknown or N/A there, and those never match anything, so against them it's red whatever you guess. Rank and Relationship are both ladders with no arrows, where yellow means one rung away. A Married guess turns yellow for Engaged and Divorced answers, which makes Married a useful value to test early.

Kevin Cozner is the best first guess, leaving about 1.3 possible answers on average and never more than two. He's a Civilian with Family and Civilian job on his Affiliation tile, Married, and around from season 1 to season 8, the same run as 13 of the 27. Seth Dozerman, a captain who lasts one season, ties him, which surprised me. Of the squad, Terry Jeffords is best at 1.37, then Raymond Holt. Jake Peralta is 14th, and if you start with him, Terry, Holt and Kevin all come back with the same row, so your second guess has to pull those three apart. Charles Boyle and Norm Scully are the other trap: male detectives at the 99th from start to finish, both Dating at the end, told apart only by Charles's Civilian job.
