About Godzilladle

Godzilladle is a daily guessing game for Godzilla and the monsters around him: seventy years of Toho films from the 1954 original through the Heisei, Millennium and Reiwa eras, Legendary's Monsterverse, and American one-offs like the 1998 TriStar film and the Hanna-Barbera cartoon. Classic mode compares the monster's animal family, how it came to be, its era, which side it takes with Godzilla, its signature powers, the year it debuted and its official size.

The famous monsters are easy. The traps are the many Godzillas themselves, who share most clues, and one-film creatures like Gezora or Kamoebas from Space Amoeba. Godzilla Earth surprises people too, since it counts as a Plant. Size is the clue to watch: 50 metres covers a big share of the Showa cast, but anything over 150 metres leaves only a handful.

How to play Godzilladle, the Godzilla Wordle

Every day there is a new secret character from Godzilla. Type any character name and submit it. Each guess shows how close you are: green means that clue matches the secret character, yellow means a partial match, and red means it's wrong. For number clues like Debut year, an arrow tells you whether the answer is higher or lower. Keep guessing until you find the character. There is no limit.
