About Grid mode

Every row and every column has a rule, like a region, a position or a release year. Fill each square with a character who matches both its row and its column. You have 9 guesses for 9 squares, wrong guesses count, and each character can only be used once.

Once enough people have played, each square shows how many players picked the same answer as you. Add them up for your rarity score (an empty square counts 100), so the lower your score, the more original your grid. There's a new board at midnight UTC, and every square always has at least three answers.
