Prez starts The Wire as the screw-up of the Barksdale detail and ends it teaching math at Tilghman Middle, which is a fair picture of how this cast works. Each season David Simon pointed the camera at another part of Baltimore, so the people you're guessing come from the corners, the docks, City Hall, a middle school and the newsroom of the Baltimore Sun.

Thewiredle puts all of them into one Wire Wordle of 95 characters. Frank Sobotka exists only in season 2 and Gus Haynes only in season 5, so one-season faces fall away early. Omar Little, Bubbles and Proposition Joe are around from the first season to the last, and they're slower to pin down than you'd expect.
