Peggy Mitchell spent years ordering people out of the Queen Vic, and the pub still decides a lot in this game: 27 of the 127 characters worked there or ran it. The cast runs from the first episode in February 1985, with Den and Angie Watts behind that bar and Lou Beale holding court, to the Panesars, the Knights and whoever is fighting in the Square this autumn.
